Airport Security Inspector

Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Air Cargo Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our airport operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cargo operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screening and Inspection: Conduct thorough screening and inspection of all cargo to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Access Control: Safeguard authorized personnel access to screening areas and maintain accurate records of access and screening activities.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain detailed documentation and records of all screening and inspection activities.
• Time-Sensitive Operations: Work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines to ensure efficient and effective cargo processing.
• Compliance Training: Participate in regular compliance training to stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and company standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of MS Office applications and ability to lift up to 70lbs.
• Security and Compliance: Previous law and security education or experience an asset, with a valid criminal background record check.
