**Senior Business Architect**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Architect to join our team at CB Canada. As a Senior Business Architect, you will play a key role in analyzing government information, consulting with government contacts, and conducting focus group workshops to develop and maintain business capabilities of the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- **Analyze and Develop Business Capabilities**: Analyze government information pertinent to business architecture and develop business capabilities of the enterprise in line with the corporate strategy.
- **Consult and Collaborate**: Consult with government contacts on specific business architecture elements and conduct focus group workshops to ensure alignment with business strategy and plans.
- **Design and Develop Architectural Solutions**: Develop and maintain business architecture artefacts, models business at enterprise and/or core business levels, and design capability models and related architectural solutions of business tasks.
- **Develop Business Transformation Plans**: Develop business transformation plans jointly with senior business management and handle business solutions to the delivery and operational business functions of the company.
- **Governance and Controls**: Develop and maintain architectural governance and controls over implementation and ensure that business architecture baseline is up to date.
- **Support and Collaboration**: Support with mandatory Cluster and Corporate Architecture governance submissions and contribute to the development of a blueprint of the enterprise to promote a common understanding of the organization and alignment of strategic objectives with tactical demands.
- **Architecture Expertise**: 10+ years of experience with different Enterprise architecture frameworks, preferably Zachman, with larger scale complex architecture systems.
- **Business Architecture Experience**: Extensive experience in Business, Information Architecture, and implementing multiple large-scale and complex projects, business capabilities mapping, updating business services, business processes, business network model, business functional model, process flows, scenarios, and workflows.
- **Government Experience**: Good understanding of diverse business environments, especially government environments, and a good understanding of the business drivers in these environments.
- **Data Modelling Expertise**: Complex data modelling expertise, experience producing Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data models using the Power Designer compliant with the Information Modelling Handbook (IMH), industry standards.
- **Architecture Skills**: Proven experience in conducting Business architecture assessments, ensuring full compliance with standards and guidelines, and knowledge and expertise with various architecture frameworks such as Zachman, principles, guidelines, and standards.
- **Public Sector Experience**: Public sector experience is a plus.
**Assignment Start Date**: ASAP - 6 months to start.
**Assignment Location**: Toronto, ON - Work Onsite.
