Position Overview:
At Coast Capital Savings, our branches are welcoming spaces where you will find dedicated professionals ready to assist with your banking requirements. Our Client Support Advisors are exceptional in both sales and customer service, embodying our commitment to 'How can we assist you?' with every interaction. You will play a crucial role in addressing members' fundamental personal credit needs, promoting and managing our Low Fee More for Me Mutual Funds, Term deposits, RRSPs, and facilitating electronic services such as online banking and free Chequing accounts, along with providing overdraft protection to help avoid unnecessary fees. Additionally, Client Support Advisors excel in two vital areas: first, they are adept sales professionals who identify opportunities to enhance our members' experiences with our diverse range of products and services. Second, they connect members with the right resources within our organization to ensure their needs are met.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Delivering exceptional and memorable customer experiences through everyday banking services.
- Engaging customers in meaningful conversations about their financial goals to assist them in saving, growing, protecting, and enhancing their financial health.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
- Proactively providing innovative solutions and alternatives to customer inquiries.
- Receiving recognition from management and colleagues for achieving sales and referral goals in a needs-based sales environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- While advanced mathematical skills are not required, a basic understanding of addition and subtraction is beneficial. We seek individuals who are comfortable assisting customers with straightforward financial inquiries and promoting our offerings.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a banking or credit union setting, with a focus on lending and investments, and a proven ability to identify sales and referral opportunities.
- A passion for sharing knowledge gained from post-secondary education in finance, business administration, or a related field, along with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Possession of the Investment Funds in Canada certificate is preferred.
- A genuine interest in building relationships with diverse individuals and providing them with essential financial assistance.
- A strong advocate for teamwork, demonstrating collaborative spirit on a daily basis.
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
