Job Summary

Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. is seeking a skilled Fire Protection Technician to join our team. As a Fire Protection Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire suppression systems, as well as troubleshooting and repairing issues with these systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install new fire suppression systems in both retro and new builds, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Inspect and test fire suppression systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with fire suppression systems, including identifying and resolving problems with system components.
  • Coordinate with onsite trades and track and order materials as needed.
  • Follow and report on safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Enrollment in the Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice program or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
