Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Processing Machine Operator to join our team at KAVIN GROUP. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining chemical formulation units, ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control chemical formulation units to ensure accurate and consistent product quality
  • Clean and maintain workspaces, equipment, and instruments to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment
  • Measure, weigh, and load chemical ingredients according to formulation cards and production schedules
  • Record production information, including product quality, yield, and any issues or concerns
  • Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Take samples and perform routine chemical and physical tests to ensure product quality and compliance with safety procedures
  • Adjust processing machines and equipment to optimize production and product quality
  • Monitor reaction processes and transfers of products in conformance with safety procedures
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a chemical processing or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions
  • Noisy work environment with exposure to odours and dust
  • Chemical processing plant setting with exposure to chemicals and equipment
