Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Executive Inn at Whistler Village. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our hotel rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend Services: Identify areas for improvement and recommend additional services, such as renovations or equipment upgrades, to enhance the guest experience.
  • Assist with Daily Operations: Assist housekeeping staff with their duties, including cleaning, laundry, and linen management.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as front desk, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, and reliability.
