Senior Geotechnical Engineer

EXP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Brampton, Ontario. As a key member of our Geotechnical Division, you will provide technical services and project management to a variety of projects, leveraging your expertise in tunneling and geotechnical engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain business relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and delivery.
- Prepare proposals for geotechnical services, including cost estimates and timelines, to secure new projects and clients.
- Plan and execute assignments, applying your knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and standards.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and third parties to achieve project objectives, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet client expectations.
- Direct field activities, including investigation, monitoring, and testing services, to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
- Review and interpret monitoring information from geotechnical instrumentation programs, providing expert insights and recommendations.
- Conduct data analysis, including computer simulations, to inform project decisions and optimize outcomes.
- Write and review technical reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy in communication.
- Provide senior technical guidance and support to junior staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, municipal staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Designation from Ontario is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering, with a post-graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Proven track record of managing engineering teams, including junior and intermediate professionals.
- Strong business development skills, with experience generating geotechnical services on projects and securing new clients.
- Advanced computer analysis experience, with proficiency in software tools and technologies.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle, with ability to travel as required.
