We are seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team at H C Transport Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues with transport trucks
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the repair and maintenance of transport trucks
Requirements:
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
