Position Overview

As a Culinary Specialist at CHILL & GRILL CAFE, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring that our guests enjoy high-quality meals prepared with care and expertise.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas to maintain high standards.
  • Manage the ordering of supplies and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in a culinary role.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Assist newcomers and/or refugees with the recognition of foreign credentials.
  • Facilitate diversity and cross-cultural training to foster an inclusive work environment.
Support for Indigenous Peoples
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Deliver cultural competency and awareness training to promote a welcoming atmosphere for Indigenous employees.
