RONA Inc. is seeking a skilled Category Coordinator to join our team. As a Category Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our product lines by collaborating with the Category Manager and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Category Manager to develop and implement product line strategies.
  • Coordinate pricing and inventory management with the Price Management Team.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure optimal product positioning.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain team to optimize sales plans and inventory performance.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations to the Category Manager and vendors.
  • Review and approve planograms and blueprints to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop promotional plans and materials.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure promotional funding and support.
  • Provide merchandising information and support to store associates.
  • Ensure a good knowledge of our store network to make informed decisions.
Requirements:
  • Any combination of professional experience and related diplomas will be considered.
  • Experience in retail is an asset.
  • Good computer literacy and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interface effectively with management.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
