Job Title: Automotive Glass Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team at ATF TRANSPORT INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating repair costs, inspecting repaired vehicles, planning repair work, and providing exceptional customer service. They will also be required to test drive vehicles, clean and maintain the work space, and replace front end components, body components, doors, and underbody components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Plan repair work to be performed, including testing and inspection
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and attention to detail
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling and safety
  • Clean and maintain the work space to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors, and underbody components as required
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. They will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel, and may be required to work overtime.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Or equivalent experience
