Job Title: Licensed Optician

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Optician to join our team at C U Vision Optometrists.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Optician will be responsible for assisting clients in selecting eyeglasses, advising on the use and care of contact lenses, and adjusting finished eyeglasses to fit clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in selecting eyeglasses and contact lenses
  • Advise clients on the use and care of contact lenses
  • Adjust finished eyeglasses to fit clients
  • Obtain specifications for eyeglasses or contact lenses and fit clients with prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses
  • Work with clients to determine their eye health needs and provide recommendations for corrective lenses
Requirements:
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
