Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Island Health. To be successful in this role, you will need to be licensed by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia or eligible for licensing.
In addition to your licensure, you will require completion of an accredited pharmacy residency and two years of recent experience as a pharmacist in a hospital setting, providing direct patient care. Alternatively, you may have an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Key Skills and Abilities- Ability to identify and resolve complex drug therapy problems with minimal supervision.
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and maintain accuracy and precision.
- Ability to teach and educate patients and healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in standard office software and ability to operate related equipment.
