Job Title: Class 1 Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at West Coast Reduction Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting raw materials from customers and delivering them to our facilities for processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive scheduled routes based on instructions from dispatchers
  • Collect raw materials at customer locations, including food processors, restaurants, supermarkets, and commercial kitchens
  • Operate vacuum pumps, hydraulic equipment, and other fleet tools
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspection checks
  • Report damages, issues, or concerns to dispatchers in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • BC Class 1 Driver's license with a clean abstract
  • Strong knowledge of the surrounding neighborhoods and Lower Mainland areas
  • 2 years of commercial truck driving experience or similar capacity
  • Prior experience with roll-off trucks beneficial
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer relations
  • Ability to frequently move, carry, lift, push, and pull equipment up to 50 lbs without assistance
