Job Summary

VAS Masonry Ltd is seeking a skilled Brick and Stone Mason to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and stone to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and stone to build walls, chimneys, and other structures.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in masonry.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliability and teamwork skills.
