Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Royal Ambassador Event Centre and The Consulate Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our dining rooms and kitchens.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 30 to 40 hours of work per week
The Royal Ambassador Event Centre and The Consulate Restaurant offer a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail. The role involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
