Position Overview

Concentra, a leading healthcare provider in the nation, is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. This role is designed to complement your existing practice, allowing you to treat patients on-site for approximately four hours per week or biweekly.

As an orthopedic specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing complex medical cases, facilitating a swift return to work, and promoting functional recovery. Collaborating with other medical professionals and therapy providers, you will deliver both surgical and non-surgical services for work-related orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. Your communication with employers and active involvement in case management will significantly impact the lives of those seeking our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide orthopedic care for half a day per week or biweekly
  • Enjoy flexible scheduling that accommodates your private practice

Compensation Structure

This role operates under a revenue share model for compensation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in treating patients with work-related injuries is preferred
  • Must meet the licensure requirements of the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
  • Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery

Additionally, candidates must possess Medical Malpractice Insurance that covers them while on-site.
