Project Overview:

We are looking for a Game Designer to contribute to our Among Us project. The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing game design mechanics intended for YouTube audiences rather than traditional gameplay. This is a remote contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with content creators to devise engaging and shareable game concepts.
  • Design game mechanics that effectively advance the narrative.
  • Create a clear and comprehensive Game Design Document (GDD).
  • Develop map layouts and user interface wireframes.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Game Design or a related field.
  • Over 3 years of experience in video game production or a similar role.
  • Previous experience as a designer in other gaming companies.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools such as spreadsheets, Trello, and Jira.
  • Ability to propose design solutions within the constraints of time and resources.
  • Familiarity with current gaming trends and viral content.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
