Job Title: Project Manager - Enterprise

Job Summary:

Canonical is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex projects across various software technologies. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing cross-cultural, remote, and global project teams, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive project success through effective stakeholder engagement, risk management, and negotiation techniques.
  • Lead diverse, remote project teams and manage team members to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative internal and external partnerships to ensure project success.
  • Manage project risks, identify and mitigate potential issues, and ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure project success through effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in software engineering project management, with a strong background in Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-cultural teams.
  • Experience leading cross-cultural, remote, and global project teams, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage complex project relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering project results.
  • Strong commercial skills, with experience in contract management and negotiation.
  • Education in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
