Position Overview

The role of a Building Maintenance Worker at James Toyota involves ensuring the functionality and safety of the establishment through various maintenance tasks.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct adjustments and minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; liaise with tradespersons for significant repairs.
  • Engage contractors for the upkeep and repair of the facility.
  • Execute minor appliance repairs as needed.
  • Perform safety and security inspections regularly.
  • Assist in moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including painting and drywall repairs.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
Work Environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage repetitive tasks effectively.

  • Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment.

Experience Requirements
