**Requirements:**

  • Recognized 40-hour course in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year's experience as a Child Care Assistant or relevant role, with demonstrated ability to deliver programs and services.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Effective listening skills, with the ability to respond to children's needs and concerns.
  • Dependable, reliable, and punctual, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
  • Valid 1st Aid/CPR Certification, with the ability to respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Circle of Security Certificate an asset, with knowledge of attachment theory and its application in early childhood education.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check, Criminal Record Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Knowledge of Métis culture, heritage, and language an asset, with the ability to promote and celebrate Métis identity and culture.
  • Ability to travel, with a valid Manitoba Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
