Bakery Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Mirch Masala & Indian Sweet Cuisine Ltd. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Production Scheduling: Draw up production schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Staff Training: Train staff on new recipes and production techniques.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. They will also be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time.

Security and Safety:

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal record check.
