Job Title: Pre-Board Screening Officer

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pre-Board Screening Officer to join our team. As a Pre-Board Screening Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen the travelling public and their belongings to prevent non-permitted items from entering the secure area
  • Control access to restricted areas and respond to alarms and report any events, illegal acts or violations
  • Participate in emergency operations within the airport and ensure the safety of passengers and staff
  • Work closely with other security personnel to maintain a secure environment
Requirements:
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Have a clean criminal record & eligible to obtain a RAIC (security clearance)
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must be located near Goose Bay or willing to relocate before starting
