Job Title: Delivery Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at Midland Foods. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a delivery truck to transport goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a delivery truck to pick up and deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all goods are properly loaded and unloaded from the truck to prevent damage or loss.
  • Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries, including tracking and documentation.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
