We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at School District #6 (Rocky Mountain). As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students and staff.

• Provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students and staff by performing various carpentry tasks to maintain and improve school facilities.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, adhering to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of school facilities, including performing repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

• Must have a strong background in carpentry and experience working in a fast-paced facilities maintenance environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
