About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Development Coordinator to join our team at Disability Solutions. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Administration & Process Management
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal partners and external clients
    • Ensure timely and accurate completion of sales and business administrative tasks
    • Identify and escalate issues related to business and credit support activities, procedures, and documentation
    • Manage and coordinate margining activities, including tracking, receipt, review, and submission
    • Prepare and submit Commercial Overdraft reports and Credit Correspondence Memos
    • Perform credit analysis for cash secured credit card facilities
    • Prepare annual review request letters
    • Ensure standardized processes are followed and data integrity is consistently achieved
    • Collect and process fees to avoid potential revenue loss
  • Operational Credit Risk & Compliance Support
    • Organize, prioritize, and manage requests from banking district sales teams, including loan pricing and payout calculations, risk scorecards, financial statement spreading, and client profile setup
    • Assist with the completion of risk scorecards and Risk-Adjusted Return on Capital (RAROC) models
    • Coordinate documentation and funding processes
    • Maintain risk management, monitoring, and reporting practices to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
    • Ensure accounts and services meet compliance and operational guidelines, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
    • Utilize queue management systems to support accurate completion of lending requests, documentation, and loan fundings
    • Draft Commitment Letters, Powers of Attorney, and other necessary documentation
    • Prepare and distribute business management and performance reports, including out-of-order reports, credit decision reports, and credit review date reports
    • Accurately and timely maintain business management and performance reports, including delinquency reports, AML reports, and portfolio monitoring requirements
    • Ensure required documents are uploaded to banking systems
    • Follow up on non-standard lending/payments agreements in accordance with lending agreements
    • Manage shared drives and maintain accurate records
  • Relationship Building
    • Foster strong working relationships with internal partners and external clients to deliver value-added services
    • Exercise discretion and respect client and vendor confidentiality
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support workflows and communications
    Requirements
    • Diploma or degree in Business Administration or related field with working knowledge of financial statements and analysis
    • Working knowledge of Moody's Financial Analyst is an asset
    • 3 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on business administration, sales support, credit support, and/or business lending
    • Fundamental financial statement analysis required
