About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing mechanical equipment according to client specifications
  • Ensuring compliance with practices, standards, and regulations to guarantee the quality of deliverables
  • Providing technical support to internal and external clients
  • Participating in the resolution of technical issues
  • Preparing and presenting project engineering progress reports
  • Collaborating on equipment development activities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience with CAD software
  • Knowledge of Solid Edge software (an asset)
  • Strong technical drawing and detail skills
  • General knowledge of mechanical systems and components, as well as various manufacturing processes
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Intermediate-level English skills for internal communication with colleagues outside of Quebec

Work Environment

You will be working in our Premier Tech Campus in Rivière-du-Loup, our global headquarters that hosts over 1,500 employees.
