About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Big Dreams Early Learning Centre. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our educational team to design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of our young learners.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Activity Planning: Lead activities that foster learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and educational outings.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Communication: Engage with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress and prepare reports for parents and supervisors.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and contribute to the development of our educational programs.
Work Environment and Requirements

As an Early Childhood Educator at Big Dreams Early Learning Centre, you will work in a dynamic and supportive environment that values teamwork and collaboration. You will be required to:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality educational programs.
  • Develop strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in early childhood education, preferably in a daycare or nursery school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
