Job Title: Art Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Art Instructor to join our team at MS Orange Academy of Art Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching art classes, creating artwork, and supervising other artists or apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach art classes to students of various skill levels
  • Create original artwork using various mediums such as acrylics, chalk, crayons, ink, oil colors, pastels, pencils, poster colors, charcoal, and watercolors
  • Supervise and mentor other artists or apprentices
  • Develop and implement art lesson plans and curriculum
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of the art studio
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in teaching art or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of various art mediums and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift and move art supplies and equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children or adults with disabilities
  • Knowledge of art history and theory
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
