Logistics and Warehouse Driver

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Business Centre Manager, the Logistics and Warehouse Driver is responsible for preparing and verifying orders, packaging goods, shipping orders, and transporting items between branches and to customers efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is stored correctly;
  • Promote safety and productivity within the warehouse and yard;
  • Accurately fill and deliver orders in a timely manner;
  • Pick, pack, and ship goods with precision;
  • Ensure that all shipments are free from damage;
  • Facilitate the movement of stock and orders between locations;
  • Deliver customer orders as required;
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and positive with a professional demeanor;
  • Proactive in seeking opportunities for self-improvement;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Initiative in enhancing warehouse productivity;
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs;
  • Possession of a valid forklift certification is a plus; training will be provided if necessary;
  • Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record;
