Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Dashmesh Trucking. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over long distances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee condition of vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, perform brake adjustments, and perform emergency roadside repairs.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
  • Documentation and Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Documentation Knowledge: Bill of lading and Driver logbook.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver at Dashmesh Trucking, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying work schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods.
