Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Groupe Océan. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the technical aspects of projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Supervise team members to ensure the technical quality of deliverables.
  • Act as a resource person to resolve technical issues and provide guidance to team members.
  • Collaborate with regulatory entities to ensure design compliance.
  • Assign mandates to team members and determine the naval architecture and engineering efforts to be deployed.
  • Ensure the technical quality of deliverables and maintain high standards of quality control.
Requirements:
  • University degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a relevant field.
  • At least six months to five years of experience in product development/technical integration, preferably in naval architecture.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word and Excel.
  • Advanced level in French and intermediate level in spoken and written English.
  • 3D modeling software expertise, including AutoDesk Inventor/AutoCad/SHIPCON or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in the field of naval construction and repair.
