Pacific Community Resources Society is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Outreach Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Inter-Regional At-Risk Youth Link (IRAYL) team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable youth in Surrey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement outreach programs to engage with at-risk youth in Surrey
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
  • Provide individual and group support to youth, focusing on education, employment, and life skills development
  • Collaborate with the Team Lead, IRAYL, to ensure alignment with program goals and objectives
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of program strategies

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., social work, youth counseling, community development)
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and community organizations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills
