About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barber Apprentice to join our team at Chaps and Fades. As a Barber Apprentice, you will assist our experienced barbers in providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality haircuts and grooming services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience in our barbershop.
  • Haircutting and Grooming: Assist senior barbers in cutting and trimming hair, shaving and trimming beards and mustaches, and providing other hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting.
  • Supply Management: Maintain and order supplies, ensuring that our barbershop is well-stocked and organized.
  • Experience and Education: Assist in educating clients about our services and products, and provide guidance on hair care and styling.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Our barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Health Benefits: Dental plan, health care plan, and permanent employment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
