Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely processing and movement of inventory to the sales floor, supporting a seamless customer experience.
  • Model active selling behaviors and techniques to motivate and develop department team members.
  • Promote company programs, including loyalty initiatives, private-label products, and seasonal promotions, to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Provide exceptional omni-channel service by offering in-store eCommerce sales and fulfilling eCommerce orders within defined service levels.

Training and Development

  • Support and coach team members to address performance gaps and provide ongoing feedback to improve team performance.
  • Communicate effectively with the team, leading Shift Starter meetings and training sessions to ensure clear understanding of expectations and goals.
  • Mentor team members and lead in the execution of Customer Experience, proactively resolving customer concerns and ensuring a positive outcome.

Leadership and Management

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, consistently coaching and following up to ensure delivery of service model standards to each customer.
  • Effectively problem-solve, delegate tasks, and follow up on team member assignments to ensure timely completion.
  • Promote and maintain a positive and motivating work environment, exemplifying Mark's leadership and culture.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying Mark's values and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Complete opening and closing duties as part of manager-on-duty responsibilities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop department team and store team members through setting expectations, communication, coaching, feedback, and ongoing support.
  • Proven ability to build and manage a daily game plan for the department and store, driving sales and customer engagement.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Superior training and mentoring skills, with a focus on developing team members and driving business results.
  • 3-5 years of retail experience, with a proven track record of success in a leadership or management role.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a drive to succeed, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate and utilize various software systems and tools.
