About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Rick's Place Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Table Setting and Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a clean and welcoming dining area.
  • Dishwashing and Storage: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and place them in storage areas.
  • Food Preparation and Handling: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, package take-out food, and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Handle and store cleaning products, receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sharpen kitchen knives.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Food Handling and Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for food preparation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
