Job Title: Babysitter

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a babysitter in a private home setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare services to our family.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional care and supervision to infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties, including light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols.
  • Organize and engage children in activities, such as games, outings, and educational programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding the children.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with parents to ensure seamless communication and coordination of childcare services.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and patience are essential qualities for this role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • First aid and CPR certification an asset.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a private home setting, with a non-smoking and scent-free environment. The work schedule will be approximately 30 hours per week.

Language:

English or French is required for this role.
