About the Role:
NorLand Limited is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project design, procurement, construction, and completion in compliance with project contract requirements, technical standards, and procedures.
- Oversee major aspects of project technical scopes, including design and constructability reviews, developing subcontractor scope packages, and creating field work packages.
- Coordinate site construction activities, resolve issues, and manage subcontractors to ensure compliance with project design, specifications, and schedule.
- Support the project manager in preparing change orders, weekly and monthly progress reports, and QA/QC activities.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, owners, and field personnel to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering or technical school diploma with extensive practical project engineering experience.
- 8+ years of work experience in engineering, construction, or a related technical field with increasing levels of responsibility.
- 4+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in the industrial construction sector, with structural mechanical bulk material handling experience considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, strong grasp of engineering principles, and proficiency in MS project, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
