Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account their specific needs and requirements.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that they are safe and clean for staff and customers.
  • Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations, ensuring that they are running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week.
