Job Summary

H C Transport Inc is seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including adjustments, replacements, and inspections of parts and components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with commercial transport trucks, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance services to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the maintenance and repair of commercial transport trucks.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification or equivalent.
  • Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate or equivalent.
  • First Aid Certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
