We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Assembler to join our team at Jitaku Corp., a leading manufacturer of high-quality furniture. As a Cabinet Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Finishing: Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles, using a variety of techniques and tools.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and ensure that they meet our quality standards.
- Material Handling: Handle and store materials, including wood, metal, and other components, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery, as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: Experience in a related field, such as woodworking or furniture manufacturing, is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Qualities: Flexibility, organized, reliability, and a team player attitude.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The work environment is dusty, and the work setting is a furniture manufacturing company. The type of materials used include wood, and the work conditions and physical capabilities required include handling heavy loads, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and fast-paced environment.
