Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Analyst to join our Investments team in Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in asset management, analyzing and executing real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financings, and preparing investment reports and presentation materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite potential real estate acquisitions, dispositions, partnerships, and debt structures.
  • Organize and facilitate due diligence and closing activities for acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Undertake asset management analysis, including hold-sell analysis, return calculations, lease analysis, and evaluation of capital decisions.
  • Prepare investment reports and presentation materials.
  • Support and contribute to investment committee and senior management discussions.
  • Monitor industry trends and market activity, and assess potential impacts on the real estate portfolio.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in real estate investments, asset management, or valuation.
  • Hold a relevant undergraduate degree, preferably in real estate, finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with detail-oriented and technical competence in building and handling complex financial models and data sets.
  • Strong understanding of real estate fundamentals, valuations, and investment return calculations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with experience with ARGUS Enterprise considered an asset.
