Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our Residential team in St. John's, NL. As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Clean common areas, guest rooms, vacant and renovated suites
  • Perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and steam cleaning carpets and area rugs, linen change, disinfecting and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, washing walls, windows, window coverings and ceilings, cleaning cupboards and cabinets
  • Maintain a trash and debris-free environment
  • Remove snow off walkways and common areas where applicable
  • May include carpet cleaning using industrial cleaners or chemical treatments
  • May be part of an on-call rotation
  • Perform other duties relating to upkeep of buildings as assigned

Requirements

  • A self-motivated individual who can work independently and takes pride in their work
  • Previous experience working in environments that can be very dirty
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to lift 30lbs, work with industrial strength cleaners and climb stairs with equipment and supplies
  • A driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Able to provide a criminal record check that is free of relevant convictions
  • Able to work overtime or on call as needed

Rate of Pay: $15.75/hr
