Forestry Operations Coordinator

About the Role:

Cci Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forestry Coordinator to join our team. As a Forestry Coordinator, you will play a key role in the supervision of our field staff, ensuring the successful completion of regen surveys, forest inventory measurements, survival/establishment surveys, data collection, and various silviculture programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise field staff and ensure the successful completion of projects
  • Coordinate with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate project scope and timelines
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are strictly adhered to
  • Manage work schedules and time for field staff
  • Complete regen surveys, forest inventory measurements, survival/establishment surveys, data collection, and various silviculture programs
  • Provide leadership to onsite staff, subcontractors, and other parties
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Environmental education with ability to register with the AAFMP
  • 2-5 years experience in the forest industry
  • Ability to work independently in the outdoors
  • Valid Alberta Drivers License
  • Provide a Negative pre-employment Alcohol and Drug test
  • Provide a drivers abstract
