**Job Summary:**

Mainline Construction is seeking a skilled Water Truck Driver to join our team. As a Water Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a water truck, ensuring that gravel/clay road surfaces are maintained at optimal moisture levels.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate a water truck and other equipment in a safe and appropriate manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent accidents.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of water truck operation, including start-up, operation, and shutdown procedures.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to determine work areas and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Fulfill truck tank with water and spray water in designated areas, ensuring accurate application and efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor vehicle performance, fluid levels, and mechanical fitness to prevent breakdowns and ensure safe operation.

**Working Environments/Conditions:**

  • Work will be performed in an outdoor setting, exposing you to various weather conditions, including inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
  • Participate in daily Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA) to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Contribute to worksite inspections as delegated, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Comply with company policies regarding drug and alcohol testing.
  • Meet physical demands of the role, including repetitive lifting and carrying of 40 pounds on a regular basis.

**Requirements:**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Water Truck Driver.
  • Valid Class 3 Driver's License with air brakes ticket and clean Driver's Abstract.
