Valve Maintenance Specialist

Unified Valve Group Ltd. is seeking a skilled Valve Maintenance Specialist to join our dedicated team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to primarily work in a workshop environment, with occasional on-site responsibilities. If you are proactive, enjoy a dynamic work setting, and are looking for a position that offers growth potential, this could be the ideal fit for you. This is a permanent full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Performing repairs on various types of valves
  2. Assembling and disassembling both new and refurbished equipment
  3. Conducting inspections, repairs, and testing of equipment
  4. Providing field service support as required
  5. Disassembling and troubleshooting customer-owned equipment for inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing
  6. Assembling, testing, and finishing new or used wellhead/tree sections
  7. Maintaining professional and courteous communication with clients, suppliers, and Unified Valve Group Ltd. team members
  8. Complying with Unified Valve Group Ltd.'s safety protocols and procedures
  9. Carrying out general maintenance and upkeep of the workshop, including storage management, equipment cleaning, and shipping and receiving tasks as necessary
Qualifications:
  1. Experience with PRV/PSV is beneficial but not mandatory
  2. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  3. Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; must be able to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and stoop
  4. Proficient computer skills; familiarity with Valve Tech is a plus
  5. Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently with minimal supervision
  6. Clear reading and writing skills
  7. Ability to operate safely in both a heavy equipment workshop and on-site environments
  8. Must successfully complete a Pre-Employment Test (including Drug, Alcohol, and Fitness assessments)
