About the Role

Aura Kitchens and Cabinetry Inc. is seeking a skilled Cabinet Installation Technician to join our team. As a Cabinet Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing kitchen cabinets and vanities in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Layout: Determine the layout and installation procedures for kitchen cabinets and vanities.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including loading and unloading trucks with supplies and equipment.
  • Tool Utilization: Utilize hand and power tools to complete installation tasks.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  • Customer Service: Provide professionalism in customer service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction with the installation process.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in cabinet installation.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors in a non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Work in various locations, including installation sites.
  • Transportation: Vehicle supplied by employer, valid driver's license required.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment, requiring attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads.
Working Conditions
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with overtime required.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to handle loads over 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Steel-Toed Safety Boots: Own steel-toed safety boots required.
