Veterinary Technologist Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Veterinary Technologist Assistant to join our team at Crowfoot Animal Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for our pet parents, making them feel at ease during their visits.
  • Develop a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients, adapting to changing situations with ease.
  • Provide compassionate care duties, including feeding and walking patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Technical skills should include knowledge of patient care and restraint, client care, hospital asepsis, and surgical assisting.
  • Take initiative and work independently, utilizing your problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, maintaining the cleanliness of reception areas, pet holding areas, and common spaces.
  • Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services, updated medical office procedures, and compassion.
  • Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program certificate is preferred.
