Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at The Royal Mental Health Centre. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to individuals with mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals with mental health disorders.
  • Administer and interpret standardized psychological assessment instruments to inform treatment decisions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Participate in academic and research activities, including supervision of students and staff, and provision of professional consultation.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments in clinical psychology.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from a CPA/APA accredited program.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical mental health settings, with at least 2 years of experience working with individuals with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related disorders.
  • Competency in delivering evidence-based treatments, including CBT, DBT, and EMDR.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in mental health care.
