Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Dairyqueen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Load buspans and trays with food and supplies, and place dishes in storage areas.
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Scour pots and pans to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen.
- Keep records of the quantities of food used to optimize inventory and reduce waste.
- Package take-out food to meet customer demands and exceed expectations.
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer preferences.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and providing exceptional customer service.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet customer needs.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are in good working condition.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with a 35-hour workweek.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
